Thursday Evening Pottery Class – 4 Weeks by Faulty Stone

Did you ever fancy having a go at pottery? These 4 weeks evening classes might the perfect way to get started! In these small group classes, you’ll have the chance to go through the whole process of making pottery. You’ll have the chance to play with clay with a bit of hand building/modelling, learn the basics of the potter’s wheel, learn how to trim your pieces and how to decorate your work using underglazes/slip/glazes. For me, it was really important to create a spread out/longer class then just a taster day since it gives you the opportunity of doing everything from start to finish. There’s a maximum of 4 persons per block of classes. Since I’ve only got one wheel, each of you will have to take a turn in order to go on it to throw/trim your pieces, while the others can work on their hand built pieces or on the decoration part. Classes will be running from 6pm-8pm.
