This textural sewing technique is a machine collage technique using stretch and non-stretch fabrics to create textured landscape textile art. No special tools or materials are required, just imagination using straight stitching and various fabric manipulation techniques.

This technique can be used to create fibre wall art and to embellish clothing and fashion accessories.

For this technique one can also use very small scraps of stained clothing as well as remnants from other projects to create something unique and personal while also being economical.

You will learn how to create 3 differerent types of prestitched fabric backgrounds to be embellished as well as a number of fabric manipulation techniques. You will learn how to create depths with layering and stitching.
