My sketchbooks are a meeting place for texture, mark, drawings and pattern, usually inspired by nature. I love to build the pages with these different elements.
In this online class I will show you how I create pattern using stamps and blocks, inspired by nature’s motifs. It’s a satisfying way to start to process ideas and inspiration that you gather. I also find this process and these techniques an excellent way to kickstart your creative flow if you’ve lost your rhythm.
You will end the course with a set of hand crafted printing blocks, a mood-board of ideas that you can develop and a way to start building exciting mixed-media sketchbooks.
